My name is Inga Bjornsdottir and I was born and raised in Iceland.
I lived in Norway for 40 years, went to school, studied and worked on my art there.
Throughout the years I have held many art exhibitions, both privately and in groups.
Drawing has always been my passion.
I do not remember myself other than with a pencil in hand.
I never stopped drawing like most people do when they reach adulthood.
I have painted with, oil, acrylic, watercolor and ink,
drawn with charcoal, oil pastel, chalk pastel and pencil.
I have also worked with clay, mostly sculpture.
I specialized in each technique individually and held workshops in all of these techniques
over a period of 30 years.
Today it gives me the most pleasure mixing all these methods in one and the same artwork and
I call it mixed media.
In 2020 I decided to move back to Iceland where I live now in Grundarfjörður my birth town.
Under the world-famous mountain Kirkjufell.
